Physical Therapy

At the clinic we offer conventional as well as several treatment techniques that are unique in Chicago as well as generally unavailable. We provide treatments for BPPV as well as other types of dizziness amenable to rehabilitation, such as bilateral vestibular loss. We also provide some unusual types of physical therapy including treatment for motion sickness, use of the "wii-fit" for balance training, and tilt-training for orthostatic hypotension.

Nicole Steinberg DPT: A DPT, Nicole practices vestibular physical therapy for Chicago Dizziness and Hearing on fridays.

Bridget Tarrant, P.T. Bridget practices vestibular physical therapy on wednesdays. She has been practicing vestibular physical therapy for more than a decade.

Janet Helminski, Ph.D, P.T. is the senior vestibular physical therapist at Chicago Dizziness and Hearing. She is has been a vestibular physical therapist since 1988, and often gives courses on vestibular rehabilitation.

Over the years we have had had several other physical therapists work for us. We are proud to note that several have continued to provide sophisticated vestibular physical therapy services elsewhere in the Chicago metropolitan area. We know that these people have had a good grounding in vestibular physical therapy. They include Tom Lenz, P.T., Kathy Martinez, P.T., Tammy Ostrowski, P.T. and Rupangi Patel, P.T..
